Benjamin Strader at EFI University spent the last three years developing a LS7 V8 capable of 11,000+ rpm with help from Billy Godbold at Comp Cams. EngineLabs reports the 358 ci (5.8 L) V8 made 921 horsepower at 9,300 rpm and 545 lb-ft of torque at 8000-8200 rpm. Listen to the unique LSx V8 reach 11,230 rpm below.
