Aston Martin Will Offer a Bolt-In Electric Motor Swap

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Aston Martin recently announced their “Heritage EV” program allowing owners to convert their older Aston Martin vehicles to electric. The program offers a bolt-in conversion that uses the factory engine and transmission mounts. This means if the owner ever wants to convert back to the inline-six, they can without damaging the originality. The first car to receive the new electric conversion is this original 1970 DB6 Mk2 Volante built at Aston Martin Works at Newport Pagnell, England.
