1992 Mercedes 250GD with a OM605 turbodiesel inline-five

Expedition Motor Co spent 2300 hours rebuilding this 1992 Mercedes 250GD (W461) from the ground up. Under the hood they installed a 2.5 L OM605 turbodiesel inline-five capable of 225-275 hp (165-202 kW) and 300-350 lb-ft (406-474 Nm) of torque. Behind that is a 722.6 five-speed automatic transmission on a standalone controller. The transfer case that splits the power between rebuilt axles. The SUV rides on Eibach springs, Bilstein shocks, and BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires. The interior features weatherproof Chestnut upholstery covered seats and door panels.
