K24-Powered Honda S2000

Honda S2000 with a 2.4 L K24A inline-four

Rich Awty is the Ecommerce administrator at Tegiwa. Rich’s daily driver is a Honda S2000 AP1 imported from Japan. After the factory 2.0 L F20C inline-four blew at a track event, Rich decided to swap a 2.4 L K24A inline-four from a Honda Odyssey Absolute. The swap was completed by Motion Motorsport using Hasport mounts, S2000 intake manifold adapter, and modified exhaust manifold by Icefab. The motor produces 220 hp (161 kW) on a Motorsport Electronics ME442 ECU. The S2000 still retains the factory six-speed manual transmission thanks to an adapter plate, RPC clutch, and Clutchmasters K-to-F flywheel. Listen to Rich explain the car in the video below.
