Michael Schnick visited Late Model Restoration with his 1998 Mustang GT for a dyno tune. The Mustang is powered by a 4.6 L Modular “PI” V8 from a 1999-2004 Mustang GT. The engine has 60,000 miles and features a Ford Performance PI intake manifold, BBK cold air intake, 70 mm throttle body and plenum, BBK x-pipe, and Flowmaster mufflers. Behind that is a built 4R70W four-speed automatic transmission with a rebuilt factory converter and 8.8-inch rear end with 3.08 ratio. The Mustang is running SVE drag comp wheels 18-inch wheels with 275/35 tires. The combo made 234 hp and 256 lb-ft of torque on 93 octane fuel.
