Throttle & Shutter – Presented by Monster Energy, StanceWorks, and Players Show

Published in Stanceworks.com

In an effort to embrace the art behind the very essence of StanceWorks as a whole, we're proud to announce Throttle & Shutter: a film competition for the car culture, by car culture.

We've teamed up with Monster Energy and Players Show to present Throttle and Shutter, a film competition for car fans from all scenes. Open to anyone and everyone, this competition offers you the chance to show the world what "car culture" means to you. From racing to cruising, styling to fabricating, and from lifestyle and friends that create the community to the inner solace you may find within it - Throttle and Shutter embraces it all, and we urge you to create a film showcasing it.

In return, our friends at Monster Energy are offering the winning film maker the chance to be part of Ken Block’s film production team with Hoonigan Racing: a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help a lucky amateur film maker move into the professional world of automotive filmmaking and storytelling.

Head on over to www.throttleandshutter.com, where you can submit films by clicking the “Submit Video” button, as well as where you can read the complete rules for the competition. Films that make the cut will then be uploaded to our page for all to view. These movies will be shown and publicized on throttleandshutter.com as well as the Players Show website, and of course here on StanceWorks.com, with links from established social media outlets including Monster Energy as well. Films uploaded in time will be shown inside the “Monster Pop Up Cinema” at Players Classic at Goodwood Motor Circuit on the 11th of June.

After our judging panel has chosen the winning film, the lucky winner will be announced live at the event. The winner will then be flown out to a Ken Block event to film and create a movie. The winner will receive support from the Hoonigan team thanks to Monster Energy.

Stay tuned for more info as we get the gears turning for Throttle & Shutter.
