Don’t worry its not a real Ferrari F40 but a F40 Silhouette kit car. I would have expected far too many F40 owners’ to spontaneously combust had it been real. Now I know this technically doesn’t fall under an engine swap since kit cars are not intended for a specific engine but I felt it was too cool pass on. Instead of a twin turbocharged 2.9L V8 which Ferrari choose to power a real F40, the builders decided to go with a 700 horsepower twin turbocharged 4.0L 1UZ-FE Toyota V8....

With a full tubular chassis and a body made from different composite materials the car weights roughly 2,645 lbs. The F40 Silhouette is able to do 0-60mph in 3.27 seconds, a quarter mile in 10.4 seconds, and can do 1.77 Gs in the corners and 1.5 Gs in braking.
