Robby van Roij visited JMSpeedshop to share his unique BMW E36. The 318is sedan was originally powered by a 1.9 L M44 inline-four. Robby swapped in a 5.0 L M113 V8 using custom mounts. The Mercedes V8 features E55 AMG NA camshafts, modified AMG oil pump, and custom 4-2-1 headers and exhaust. The engine runs on a factory ECU modified for standalone operation. Behind the motor is an E90 six-speed manual transmission thanks to a PMC Motorsport adapter, flywheel, and clutch. The 1400 kg sedan rides on BC Racing coilovers and Porsche 996 four-piston calipers with E46 M3 rotors.
