LOJ used their FX35 Ultimate swap kit to install a 6.2 L LSx V8. The motor uses a L9H rotating assembly, TSP Stage 1 camshaft (225/236, .629/.615), and LOJ/Kooks 1-7/8-inch stainless steel exhaust headers. It is topped with a set of Frankenstein Engine Dynamics Stage 1.5 ported 823 heads. They use TSP dual valve springs and titanium retainers, LS3 rocker arms, and Summit Rocker Arms bushing kit.

Air enters a Granatelli Motorsports 103 mm throttle body on a FAST LSXHR intake manifold. The fuel system uses factory 50 lb truck flex-fuel injectors on FAST fuel rails. Jeremy Formato (Fasterproms) tuned the motor for 471 hp (351 kW) and 412 lb-ft (558 Nm) of torque to the wheels on 93 octane fuel and 10.9:1 compression.

Behind the V8 is a FTI Lockup-series triple-disc torque converter and a 6L90E six-speed automatic transmission. A 4-inch one-piece aluminum driveshaft sends torque to a FX35 R200 rear end with a Quaife limited-slip differential and 3.69 ratio. A set of FX45 axles finally delivery the power to the rear wheels.

LOJ upgraded the handling using BC Racing coilovers on each corner. The rear suspension uses custom lower control arms and spring buckets for alignment. Braking is now handled by Infiniti G37S Akebono four-piston front calipers and two-piston rear calipers. Both clamp down on Z1 Motorsports two-piece 14-inch rotors. The SUV rides on Michelin Latitude Sport 3 tires (295/35) tires mounted on TSW Bathurst 21×10.5-inch (+50) wheels using H&R 25 mm spacers.
