GR Corolla with a 1100 hp 2JZ Inline-Six

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Steve Baggsy Biagioni debuts a new drift machine at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026. Steve and his team started with a white GR Corolla imported to the UK by JDM Garage. The swapped the factory turbocharged 1.6 L G16E inline-three for a turbocharged 2JZ inline-six built by Dave Yandell. The motor produces 1115 hp (820 kW) and 798 Nm (588 lb-ft) of torque thanks to a large Garrett G40-1150 turbocharger. Behind that is a Comp1 clutch connected to a Quaife 69G six-speed sequential transmission. A Winters quick-change rear end completes the drivetrain. On the outside Steve and his team installed a Rocket Bunny widebody using carbon fiber hood, fenders, and doors. Under the widebody are a set of STROM three-piece wheels.
