Custom 1964 C60 with a Compound-Turbo Cummins 6BT Inline-Six

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Defiant Motorsports in Monroe, Georgia is responsible for this custom 1964 Chevy C60 truck. The truck is powered by a 5.9 L Cummins 12v inline-six featuring a Hamilton 188/220 cast camshaft, Mahle marine-style bowl pistons, DAP 3-piece exhaust manifold, Hamilton Cams heavy-duty push rods, Industrial Injection 150 lb valve springs, and Hamilton Cams large valves. Boost is generated a compound-turbo system using BorgWarner S366 and S430 turbochargers. A FASS fuel system is assisted by DAP 191 delivery valves, DAP 150 HP 145 degree injectors, and a 45-gallon tank. Behind the Cummins inline-six is a Destroked adapter plate, Randy’s triple-disc billet converter, and BD Diesel Allison six-speed automatic transmission. Defiant Motorsports placed the truck on top of a custom chassis with an independent front suspension. It rides on an air ride suspension with 2.5-inch carbon shocks. The body retains the patina factory paint with Holley Retrobright headlights and LED lights. Under the fenders are 22.5-inch steel wheels with custom 10-lug center caps and Toyo M122 255/70 tires. You can read more about the truck at Diesel World.
