1972 Ford F-250 with a Godzilla Big-Block V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Marc Gombosi built this 1972 Ford F-250 Crew Cab to be one of kind. Under the hood sits a 7.3 L Godzilla V8 crate motor paired with a 10R140 10-speed automatic transmission. A Moonshine Mafia NP205 transfer case transfers power to a Dana 44 front axle and Dana 60 rear axle. The restored chassis features new leaf-springs, Steerman electric power steering, and Wilwood six-piston front brakes. Marc covered the classic body in factory Wind Blue paint and the roof in Bahama Blue paint. On each end of the axles are white steel wheels mounted with BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain KM3 255/85 tires. Inside the cabin you find plaid upholstery, Dakota Digital gauge cluster, and Vintage Air AC system. Listen to Marc explain the truck to Solomon Lunger from Ford Era in the video below.
