Jensen Interceptor with a 6.4L Hemi V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

The Jensen Interceptor came from the factory with a Chrysler V8. Retropower chose to keep a Mopar motor for their “Project Rooster” Interceptor albeit a more modern version. The car will be powered by a 392 ci (6.4L) Hemi V8 crate motor capable of 485 hp (356 kW) and 475 lb-ft (644 Nm) of torque. Retropower will pair the motor to a ZF 8HP eight-speed automatic transmission and Strange 9-inch rear end. The car rides on a fully independent suspension using Heidts Automotive front and rear subframes. Retropower is adding Nitron shocks and upgraded disc brakes. You can follow the project’s progress on Retropower’s channel.
