Ben Collins Drives Ringbrother’s Aston Martin DBS with a 800 hp Coyote V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Ben Collins visited Spring Mountain Motor Resort outside of Las Vegas, Nevada to test drive the 1971 Aston Martin DBS called “OCTAVIA” and built by Ringbrothers. The custom car is powered by a supercharged 5.0 L Coyote V8 producing 805 hp (592 kW). Behind that is a torque tube and TR-606 Magnum six-speed manual transaxle. The powertrain is supported by a custom Roadster Shop Fast Track chassis featuring RS Fox Racing coilovers, C7 Corvette end links, and 1.25-inch splined sway bars. Keeping the 800+ hp under control are Brembo GT M6 six-piston calipers with 380×34 mm rotors in front and Brembo GT M4 four-piston calipers with 380×28 mm rotors in back. You can view more photos and details of the car in our feature article. Watch Ben pilot the unique car around the race track and the streets of Las Vegas.
