BMW 1 Series with a Turbo VR6 Goes 8.2 sec

Carsx Garage built a unique BMW 1 Series E81 called “132VRX” for drag racing with help from Tad Performance. The hatchback is powered by a compound-turbocharged VR6 capable of 1252 hp (920 kW) and 1291 Nm (952 lb-ft) of torque. The motor features forged internals, 12 2200 cc injectors, billet oil pan, custom stainless steel exhaust manifold, Pulsar G35 turbocharger, and Pulsar G47 turbocharger. The power is sent to four Hoosier 26.0×10.0-15 slicks by an 8HP70x eight-speed automatic transmission and BMW xDrive AWD drivetrain. Watch the car attend RoDrag Racing in Romania and go 8.22 sec at 169 mph in the quarter-mile.
