Coyote-Powered 1977 Ford F-150
Velocity Restorations gave this 1977 Ford F-150 their Heritage Series treatment at their company in Florida. In the engine bay they installed a third-generation 5.0 L Coyote V8 capable of 460 hp (338 kW) and 420 lb-ft (569 Nm) of torque. Behind that is a 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission and transfer case splitting torque between a Dana 44 front axle and Dana 60 rear axle. Everything rides on a Velocity Restoration chassis built by Roadster Shop with a 4-link front and rear suspension. A set of Wilwood disc brakes hide behind painted 18-inch wheels with BFGoodrich tires. Velocity Restoration painted the dentside body in Dark Jade and Wimbledon White BASF Glasurit paint. On the inside they installed green leather and fabric insert bench seat. There is also a leather-wrapped Sparc billet steering wheel on an Ididit tilt steering column in front of Dakota Digital gauges. Velocity Restorations lists the truck for $369,900.
