1971 Chevy Blazer with a LT1 V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Velocity Restorations spent many hours building this 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer at their company in Cantonment, Florida. Under the hood is a 6.2 L LT1 V8 producing 460 hp (338 kW). The motor is paired to a 10L80 10-speed automatic transmission, transfer case, Dana 44 front axle, and Dana 60 rear axle. The Blazer rides on a Velocity Restoration chassis built by Roadster Shop with a triangulated 4-link rear suspension. Behind the US Mags Scottdale 18-inch wheels are Wilwood disc brakes on each corner. Velocity Restorations finished the body in Eruption Green and Frost White paint. Other mods include LED headlights, six-point roll cage, color matched safari top, and power steps. The company outfitted the interior with custom door panels and center console covered in brown leather. A leahter-wrapped Sparc steering wheel mounts on an Ididit tilt steering column in front of Dakota Digital gauges. You can purchase this Blazer or a similar one for $409,900. Listen to Tom from Velocity Restorations explain all the work that went into the Blazer.
