In 1996 TVR set out to build several Cerbera Speed 12 cars but stopped after TVR boss Peter Wheeler test drove one and found it too powerful for public roads. Years later Helical Technology built their own version of the Cerbera Speed 12 creating their Speed 12 Supercar. The car does not use a naturally aspirated 7.7 L Speed Twelve V12 that would have been found in the Cerbera Speed 12. Instead they used a twin-turbo 6.0 L Aston Martin V12 capable of 1012 hp (744 kW) at 6700 rpm and 615 lb-ft (833 Nm) of torque at 7000 rpm. The motor features a 60-degree design with 89.0 mm bore, 79.5 mm stroke, and 8.3:1 compression. Behind that is a six-speed manual transmission and RWD drivetrain.
