FuelTech’s DeLorean with a Ferrari V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Anderson Dick and his company FuelTech will debut their special “AFD” DeLorean at SEMA 2024. The car is now powered by a 4.3 L F136 IB V8 from a 2012 Ferrari California. The naturally aspirated motor makes 454 hp (338 kW) and 358 lb-ft (485 Nm) in factory specs. They paired the V8 to a Porsche 997 Tiptronic six-speed transaxle. Everything is supported by custom mounts. The car’s suspension features aluminum front lower control arms, adjustable rear control arms, KW adjustable coilovers, and upgraded brakes. Covering the brakes are a set of custom DeLorean-style wheels with Toyo Proxes R888R tires. Hopefully FuelTech will release the full spec list after SEMA. Until then listen to DeLoreanTECH explain the project in the video below.
