1998 Porsche Boxster with a LS3 V8
This 1998 Porsche Boxster (986) was built for racing. Behind the driver is a naturally aspirated 6.2 L LS3 V8 featuring a NASCAR-style oil pan, electric water pump, and custom exhaust headers. The motor is paired to a Mendeola sequential transaxle with a Tilton clutch and limited-slip differential. The Boxster rides on a 911 GT3-style suspension with JRZ adjustable coilovers with StopTech calipers in front and Porsche calipers in back. The exterior features a custom hardtop, 911 GT3-style body panels, and 18-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport slicks. On the inside you find a Sabelt seat with a Schroth Racing harness, Momo steering wheel, and Motec digital display. The occupant is protected by a roll cage and fire suppression system.
