1987 Ford Sierra with a 1UZ V8
Richard Beazer started building his 1987 Ford Sierra Mk2 from a rolling shell. The car is now powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0 L Toyota 1UZ-FE V8 making around 300 hp (220 kW). The motor features single side-exit exhaust, custom radiator, Bosch injectors, and Link Atom ECU. Behind the V8 is a BMW M3 six-speed manual transmission sending power to a Sierra Cosworth LSD. The car rides on adjustable coilovers and stops thanks to Brembo calipers in front and Cosworth rear brakes. Richard had the body painted in VW Cornflower Blue color and reduced some weight with polycarbonate windows. The interior features a full roll cage, fire suppression system, and Corbeau seats with Luke harnesses. Watch Richard drive the Sierra with Motor Addicts at Silverstone for Ford Fair.
