Lexus GS300 with a 1000+ hp Ford Inline-Six

This Lexus GS300 returned to KMS Engine in Poland for another dyno session. The sleeper is powered by a turbocharged Ford Barra inline-six and 8HP70 eight-speed automatic transmission using a PMC Motorsport adapter. Read more details on the engine setup in our previous article. In the last dyno session the motor made 911 hp (670 kW) and 1006 Nm (741 lb-ft) of torque on E85 fuel and 1.4 bar (20.3 psi) of boost from a Garrett G42-1200 turbocharger. This session they increased the boost to 1.7 bar (24.6 psi) and made 1022 hp (751 kW) and 1160 Nm (855 lb-ft) of torque. Anymore boost and the 325/30-19 tires slipped. The next step is a hub dyno. After KMS Engine maxes out the G42-1200 turbocharger they plan on swapping to a Pulsar PSR 8582G turbocharger. This turbo has the potential of making 1650 hp.
