Porsche 964 with a 997 GT3 Motor

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Philip Hoffmann has spent many years developing his Porsche 964 “RSGT Concept” at his company REEN Cars in Germany. In the back of the red sports car he swapped a water-cooled 3.6 L flat-six from a 997.1 GT3 producing 400 hp (294 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. In future builds, REEN Cars will offer engine displacements from 3.6 liters to 4.0 liters. The flat-six features a custom exhaust with an electronic “E-flap” to control the noise level. It is paired with a short-ratio 964 G50 five-speed manual transaxle with custom gear linkage. Handling is improved with KW/Ohlins coilovers and large Brembo brakes. Several carbon fiber parts being the vehicle’s weight to 1098 kg (2420 lb). One of the most interesting features is the Momo steering wheel with four knobs. Each knob controls the car’s exhaust noise level, throttle response, blip-shifts, and traction control though the company’s patented REEN Drive computer system. If you are interested in your own RSGT, you can contact REEN Cars here.
