Al Mathon built this Ford T-bucket with a custom 700 ci V16. Museum of American Speed states that Al and his son built the motor using two Chevy V8 motors. It features an iron block made from two blocks with a 4.0-inch bore, 3.48-inch stroke, and nine main caps. They also made the custom crankshaft and camshaft by joining two at 45-degree offset. On top sits custom heads, two Holley four-barrel carburetors, and a custom distributor. Behind the motor is a three-speed automatic transmission and 9-inch rear end. The fiberglass body sits on a custom frame with a tranverse leaf spring and disc brakes in front. In back are drum brakes and adjustable coilovers. This wild creation is for sale on Bring a Trailer.
