1960 Ford Econoline with a Mid-Engine Supercharged 454 ci V8
G.T.S. Auto spent three years building this 1960 Ford Econoline at their company in Van Nuys, California. Sitting behind the cab is a 454 ci Chevy V8 built by Hawaiian Racing from Simi Valley, California. The motor features a Weiand supercharger, two Demon carbs, aluminum heads, Meziere billet water pump, and Summit Racing headers. Behind that is a TCI converter, Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission, and Ford 9-inch rear end. The Econoline rides on a braced frame with a 9-inch extended wheelbase. It uses a Scott’s Hot Rods front suspension and Competition Engineering 4-link rear suspension. Behind the Centerline wheels (17×7.5, 14×15) is Wilwood four-piston calipers with 11-inch rotors in front and drum brakes in back. The body features a 6.5-inch chopped top, custom side scoops, Lamborghini orange paint, shaved bumpers, Cadillac taillights, and custom grill. G.T.S. Auto is selling the Econoline on Bring a Trailer.
