1969 Dodge Van with a Hemi V8
Goolsby Customs built this 1969 Dodge A108 called “Vantasy” at their company in Hueytown, Alabama. Between the front seats sits a naturally aspirated 6.4 L Hemi V8 producing 458 hp under a custom cover. Behind that is a 45RFE four-speed automatic transmission sending power through a Dynotech Engineering custom driveshaft to a Strange 9-inch rear end. The van sits on a Roadster Shop Fast Track chassis featuring C6 spindles, Penske adjustable coilovers, and Wilwood six-piston brakes in front and four-piston brakes in back. The body is covered in BASF Autumn Gold and Cool Vanilla paint. Other notable mods are the custom pop-out windows, tucked bumpers, and Billet Specialties (18×9, 19×11) wheels with Greening Auto custom hubcaps. Speed and Design installed a custom interior with a Sparc Industries 3100 Series steering wheel on a Ididit steering column. The occupants are kept cool thanks to two Vintage Air AC system.
