VeeDubRacing attended the L8Night event in Germany and recorded a wild Audi 80 (Typ 85) owned by Arne Grau. The car is powered by a 3.6 L V8 (PT) usually found in an Audi V8. These motors were naturally aspirated but Arne’s V8 is built to handle boost from two Xona turbochargers. Tille Motorsport Engineering (TME) tuned the motor and it made 1180 hp and 1380 Nm of torque. Behind it is a ZF 8HP65 automatic transmission contolled by paddle shifters and a HTG transmission controller. VeeDubRacing recorded the car’s best quarter-mile at the event of a 9.04 sec at 155 mph. Arne’s personal best is a 8.9 sec at 156 mph.
