Mike Whiddett spent 100 days building “MADMAC” at his MadLab company in Australia. The project starts with a McLaren 650S GT3 race car provided by Lazante featuring McLaren P1 HDK aero. In the back of the car Mike swapped a billet 2.0 L 20B three-rotor on custom mounts. The motor produces 1,000+ hp thanks to a Radium triple-pump fuel system and Haltech Nexus R5 ECU. Behind the rotary motor is a custom adapter plate from JWB Engineering bolted to a Graziano SSG dual-clutch 7-speed transaxle. Mike’s team created a custom angle kit with custom upper control arms, modified lower control arms, and swapped the brakes to Wilwood brakes.
