Jeep built the Trailcat concept for the 50th Easter Jeep Safari in 2016. They started with a two-door Jeep Wrangler (JK) and yanked the factory powertrain. In the engine bay they swapped a supercharged 6.2 L Hellcat V8 making 707 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. Behind that is a six-speed manual transmission, strong but unknown transfer case, and Dana 60 axles. Jeep extended the Trailcat’s wheelbase by 12 inches and supported by Fox 2.5-inch shocks. The exterior features a power dome vented hood, steel bumpers, and 2-inch chopped windshield. A set of 17-inch beadlock wheels hold BFGoodrich Krawler TA KX 39.5-inch tires.
