1952 Chevy 3100 with a Duramax V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Keith Porter built himself one unique 1952 Chevy 3100. Under the hood is a 6.6 L Duramax L5P V8 paired to an Allison 10L1000 10-speed automatic transmission. The motor produces 700+ hp thanks to FASS Fuel Systems lift pump, VGT turbocharger, custom piping by Wehrli Custom Fab, and triple-pass aluminum radiator. The motor, turbo, and transmission are controlled by a Motec M142 ECU and custom wiring harness by S&S Diesel Motorsport. Keith stretched, sectioned, and chopped the body and installed custom glass by Auto City Classic. Everything sits on a custom 2×4-inch chassis with C4 Corvette suspension and Ridetech air shock system. Keith’s fabrication continues into the interior with custom floor, transmission tunnel, door panels, and dash. All the engine’s data is displayed on a Motec C127 digital display and data logger.
