The project started as a Porsche Carrera 3.2. Joey sold the 3.2 L flat-six for a friend and purchased a 3.6 L RS America flat-six. The new motor features Carrillo rods, Mahle pistons, GT3 crankshaft, 997 GT3 Cup intake manifolds and Motec M84 ECU. It produces 360 hp and 285 lb-ft of torque on pump fuel.

In front of the motor is a 915 five-speed manual transmission built by Bill Rader Motorsport. It uses a Guard limited-slip differential and G50 axles.

Joey upgraded the car’s suspension with KW Automotive Competition 3-way shocks and ERP Suspension Engineering tubular control arms. Braking is handled by Brembo calipers behind a set of BBS E-88 18-inch wheels.

Joey also focused on weight reduction and bias. The hood and deck lid are made from carbon fiber by Son of Cobra while the firewall is aluminum. The rockers, bumpers, and fender liners are also made from composite. Joey moved weight to the front with a large dry sump reservoir and cooler. The car weighs 2300 lb with a full roll cage.
