Published in engineswapdepot.com

Elusive Racing won 1st place in the Clubsprint class at WTAC 2018 with Brett Dickie behind wheel of their Honda Integra DC2 race car. The car is powered by a built Honda K24 inline-four that makes 600 horsepower at 20 psi (1.4bar) of boost from a BorgWarner EFR9180 turbocharger and controlled by an Emtron ECU. The engine also features Darton sleeves, Manley Turbo Tuff rods and custom pistons, custom camshafts, ported K24 head with Supertech valves and springs, eight Bosch 1650 cc injectors, Full Race custom exhaust manifold, and Skunk2 Ultra Race intake manifold with Hypertune 82 mm throttle body. Power goes to the wheels through a Competition Clutch triple-plate clutch, PPG five-speed dog gearset, OS Giken LSD, and Driveshaft Shop axles. It rides on a MCA Red series coilovers with Stoptech 328×28 mm four-piston front brakes and Honda DC2R rear brakes. Watch footage of the team’s fastest lap of 1:38.7560 in the video below or read more about the car and see more photos at Speedhunters.
