Turbozentrum’s Custom Carbon and Titanium Turbocharger

Turbozentrum brought their custom lightweight carbon/titanium turbocharger to SEMA 2018. The turbocharger is made for racing applications where weight means everything and money means nothing. The carbon fiber compressor housing is rated up to 3 bar (43.5 psi) of boost while the exhaust housing is made from billet titanium with a magnesium center. The turbocharger weighs 2.9 Kg (6.39 lb), supports up to 850 horsepower, and costs around $19,000 built to order.
