Turbo 4.3 L Inline-Four Made From a V8 Makes 1,688 whp

Mathias Stenström recently visited Pure Performance Factory in Krylbo, Sweden for some dyno time. His drag car is powered by a 4.3 L inline-four made from half of a HEMI V8. The eight-valve engine makes 1,942 horsepower to the crank or 1,688 horsepower to the wheels on 3.7 bar (54 psi) of boost from a single turbocharger.
