Ford Lightning with a Twin-turbo Coyote V8

Texas SpeedLab Performance in Beaumont, Texas built this wild 1995 Ford SVT Lightning. The owner created the truck to dominate at the track and then take him to his job the next day. Under the hood sits a 5.0 L Coyote V8 with two Comp 64/68 turbochargers. The engine uses a Modular Performance Solutions 1200 short block and everything else is factory which is good for 885 horsepower to the rear wheels. Behind the engine sits a built TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. The truck holds the record for quickest Coyote-power F-150 with a 8.97 sec at 150 mph. All that and it still gets 26 MPG.

Unfortunately both the turbos gave up Texas Speed Syndicate’s Quick 30 drag racing event but we have included some of the trucks other runs below.
