One of the fist things Schwartz Performance did was build a custom chassis which must have been a prototype for their new G-Machine A-Body chassis. The gave the car a wider track, Baer six-piston 14″ brakes, and RideTech HQ coilovers on every corner.

Now that the foundation was laid it was time for power. Schwartz went with a 6.2 L LSA V8 crate engine that was increased to 700+ horsepower thanks to a 100 shot wet nitrous system. The engine runs off a GM Performance ECU and wiring harness. A ComceptOne front serpentine kit drives the front accessories such as AC and power steering.

Behind the engine sits a Tremec T-56 Magnum six-speed with a American Powertrain clutch and flywheel. This leads to a custom steel driveshaft and a Moser 9″ full floating rear end with a TrueTrac diff and 3.70 gears.

One of the most obvious modifications was the front bumper removal. This required some custom fabrication to fill in the open areas and make it seamlessly blend.
