Matt Farah seemed to have a lot of fun driving Detroit Speed’s 1972 Corvette test car. This Corvette has been built to compete in autocross events and rides on DSE’s C3 prototype full suspension system. Under the hood is a Mast Motorsports Black Label LS3 V8 that has been stroked and bored to 416 ci (6.8 L) and produces 590 horsepower and 580 lb-ft of torque. Behind that is a Hightower four-speed transmission and a rear end with 4.11 gears. The car’s setup is so good it won the first event it entered.
