Building a 1967 Camaro with a V12 LSx

Published in engineswapdepot.com

One of the first 519 ci LSx V12 engines made by V12LS is going to custom builder Mike Heim at Quality Custom Rides in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The engine will go in Mike’s own 1967 Camaro he originally purchased when he was 18 years old. The Camaro will have a lot of custom modifications. The floor has been channeled three inches and the rockers have been removed. The narrowed frame will ride on a full air ride suspension with a with a custom rear cantilever rear suspension. This will allow the Camaro to ride as low as the ground will allow. That type of look along with a 717 horsepower V12 with individual throttle bodies connected to a ATI TH400 automatic transmission is sure to make a splash at its debut at SEMA 2016.
