When we last wrote about Christian Jæger’s Nissan R33 drift car it still needed some work and final testing before it could see the track. Since then they corrected all the bugs in their twin-turbo Mercedes M120.980 V12 and put it on the dyno. The engine produced 543 horsepower and 562 lb-ft (762 Nm) of torque on 4.8 psi (0.3 bar) of boost. Christian still plans on raising the rev limiter and installing a water-methanol injection system. The drivetrain consists of a Nissan R32 dogbox transmission and R33 GTS-t rear end.
