1934 Ford Coupe with a LSA
This Ford Coupe custom is called Road Kill R and was built by Xcentrick Autosports in Windsor, Canada. The project started with a totaled 2013 ZL1 Camaro being taken apart and stuffed into a 1934 Ford coupe.
The team stretched the firewall just to fit all the ZL1 electronics. Almost everything was used from the ZL1 from the drivetrain to the interior electronics. This is probably the only Ford on earth that has GM OnStar.
Between the front wheels sits the ZL1’s supercharged 6.2 L LSA engine. The team upgraded the pulley and supercharger to deliver 800+ horsepower. Other subtle changes were made to give the engine the appearance of a classic small block.
Besides the stretched firewall the coupe’s body fenders had to be increased to acomidate the ZL1’s suspension. The Camaro’s functional hood scoop was integrated into the coupe’s hood. Even the carbon fiber from the ZL1 was incorporated into this project. The roof and doors are all made from carbon fiber.
