Nissan R31 Skyline Wagon with a 1JZ

This is Jason Ferron’s R31 Skyline wagon he uses to compete in Australia. The car was previously powered by a 5.7 L LS1 with a T-56 six-speed transmission but Jason missed the feel of a turbo so he swapped it for something with less pistons but more pressure. The wagon now runs a Toyota 1JZ with Brian Crowers 264/264 camshafts and a HyperGear ATR43G4SAT turbocharger. A combo good enough for 456 horsepower to the rear wheels running on 23 psi of boost and E85 fuel. Behind the engine sits a twin-plate clutch and Skyline GT-R transmission connected via a JDI Fabrication bellhousing. The factory rear end with 3.91 gears was changed out to one with 4.11 gears sourced from another wagon. Watch below as Jason slides his R31 wagon around the track.
