The Roadkill team went to Santa Rosa, California to pick up a heavily modified 1974 Mazda truck and drive it down to compete in the Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge. The truck originally came with a 1.3-liter 13B four-barrel carbureted engine. The truck is now powered by an Oldsmobile 455 ci V8 and 1969 Toronado transaxle in the bed of the truck. The guys purchased the truck for $5,000 and found out it needed some work if it was going meet the challenge.
