You might remember Pulse Performance Race Engineering six-rotor powered RX-4 (link to Youtube video). It was an amazing screaming beast and many people wanted to see the motor in a RX-7. It seems those wishes have come true. Han Jiahao from Shanghai, China purchased a PPRE 6B six-rotor engine with sequential transmission and installed it in his Mazda RX-7. The first six-rotor PPRE built for the RX-4 used RX-8 high compression rotors, this engine however uses 9.7:1 lower compression rotors. On the dyno the engine produced 784 hp and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft) of torque at only 9,000 rpm.
