1986 Jeep Cherokee With A 505 ci Chrysler V8

Some will recognize Mark Blair’s 1986 Jeep Cherokee from the many videos on Youtube or possibly Hot Rod Mag’s article from 2011. Mark’s famous Jeep even made it on an episode of Speed’s Pass Time. Mark purchased the Jeep for $200 from the previous owner after deciding the quoted repair for a headlight switch repair was too much. Mark then went on to install a 505 ci Chrysler V8 based off a 440 ci mega block with GRP billet rods, Indy Cylinder heads, and two-stage nitrous system. Attached to the engine is a ATI Powerglide transmission and Ford 9″ rear. The Jeep’s best time was 8.44 at 162 mph.
