It would seem Vidar Jødahl’s 2JZ powered BMW E30 M3 is as fast on ice is it is on concrete. On a frozen lake in Sweden Vidar was able to reach 197 mph and set a new record for the fastest 2WD car on ice. The engine produces 1,078 horsepower and 1,089 ft-lb of torque thanks to a 2JZ with Powerhouse Racing pistons and rods, ported head, Pectel T6 ECU and a huge Garret GTX4294R turbocharger which is producing 42 psi (2.9 bar) of boost. Speedhunters wrote a detailed article on Vidar’s E30 back in 2013 while at Gatebil.
