James and Mike from Ringbrothers stopped by Jay Leno’s Garage to talk about their 1966 Chevy Chevelle Recoil that took 5,000 man-hours to complete. The engine is a Wegner Motorsports built 416 ci LS7. The engine uses a RHS block and heads, Whipple twin-screw supercharger and just about every other upgrade needed to produce 980 horsepower. There are plenty of wild parts on this car but one of the most unusual for me is the metal seats. The owner wanted the metal seats so much so that it was the only condition given before the project started.
