Nissan no longer makes RB engines but that hasn’t stopped the popularity of using them. They have long been great choices for automobiles but they are also amazing at propelling boats through the water.
This is a custom 15.5 foot jet boat powered by a 800 horsepower RB26/30 motor. The boat has a variable deadrise hull, American Turbine SD309 nine-inch SS impeller, and hydraulic trim.
The engine starts with a RB30 block and mild ported RB26 head. Then adds forged conrods, CP pistons, ACL bearings, Tomei Cams, 90mm throttle body, Bosch 2000cc injectors, and a Weaver 4-stage dry sump. The turbocharger is a Holset HX52.
