There once was a man from France who loved his Ferrari 400 so much he drove it everywhere. Unfortunately the factory V12 broke down too much and was too expensive to fix. So the owner decided to swap in VM Motori straight-six marine diesel engine. Now he tours Europe in his diesel Ferrari tank with a huge smile.
Seriously this actually happened. The first mention of this swap was 2005 on Petrol-Head. I am curious what happened to this. Is this Ferrari still rolling around Europe? If you have any new details please leave a comment or email us.
