1959 Cadillac with 1,500 Horsepower Hemi

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Nelson Racing Engines is currently building a wild 1959 Cadillac coupe. The project began with just an engine swap. NRE built a monster 1,500 horsepower twin-turbo Hemi V8 to put under the hood. But after watching the engine on the dyno the owner soon realized the rest of the car should be upgraded as well. The frame is built by Art Morrison and will have exhaust routed through it. This means nothing will be lower than the frame rails. Another interesting feature is the twin suspension system. The driver will be able to switch between a three-link and four-link suspension depending on the setting.
