Richard Millington aus Melbourne(Australien) besuchte vor über 35 Jahren die CSSR.
Czechoslovakia in March 1980. I had to visit Pilsen from Prague and was assigned a Skoda 613 (sic.) and driver for the trip. An impressive car and as you can glean from the shots I was fascinated how they managed to get sufficient ducting round a quad cam aircooled V8 to keep it cool. Czechoslovakia was very much under the Soviet yoke then, 10 years before the end of the Iron Curtain and was a pretty sad place.
Das war natürlich kein Skoda, sondern ein Tatra 613…
